Missions

Loving Our City

Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria

We have a vested interest in building a strong, safe, thriving community for ourselves and future generations.  We believe the best way to achieve that goal is by living our lives as Christ's ambassadors (2nd Corinthians 5:20) in this increasingly secular world.  We are missional minded and therefore treat our community like a mission field.  As often as possible we engage in community outreach.  If you'd like to join us please email Pastor Phill.

Loving Our world

And the end of the earth

We also believe that our reach should be beyond our local community.  Jesus' commission to make disciples of "all nations" is something we believe in.  We do this through a two-pronged approach.  We support missionaries in the mission field and we go on short term missions with our Church.  If you are interested in going on a short term mission please email Pastor Phill.

Missionaries we support

Jon and Cher Cadd

About Jon and Cher
Jon and Cher Cadd are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship. They have served for over 40 years in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and the East Democratic Republic of the Congo (EDRC), first from Kampala, Uganda and then in the city of Bunia as well as the village of Nyankunde in the Congo. The couple currently resides in Oregon, where Jon works remotely as the Program Security Manager for Congo. Mission Aviation Fellowship has a shortage of pilots in Congo and throughout supported regions. Jon’s current job is to keep track of risk areas and inform the team about potential security issues. Thanks to the many connections Jon has made over years in the Congo, he can provide up-to-date information that teams on the ground can rely on. Jon enjoys helping out the team and feels he can take much of the weight off their shoulders in this way. MAF cannot spare one of their pilots to do this work, so Jon’s contributions are especially valuable.
